Introduction

Hubei Huanghe Law Firm, also known as Huanghe Firm, was established in 2000 as a large-scale and specialized full-service law firm. Over the years, it has earned the prestigious title of "Model and Civilized Law Firm" in Hubei Province for three consecutive years.

What we do?

Huanghe Firm has established a robust case management mechanism and an intricately organized business division system. The firm has instituted various functional departments, encompassing the Department of Construction and Real Estate, the Department of Criminal Cases, the Department for Public Welfare and Legal Aid Services, and the Department of ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolutions). These departments work collaboratively to offer comprehensive and professional legal services to clients.

Who are we?

The firm takes pride in its team of highly skilled practitioners. Currently, Huanghe Firm comprises 70 practicing lawyers (including 15 part-time lawyers) and 15 trainee lawyers, all of whom hold law degrees. Among the legal professionals, three are professors, ten hold doctorates, fifteen possess master's degrees, and three have associate senior professional titles or higher, awarded by Wuhan University. Additionally, one member serves as a deputy to the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, and acts as an arbitrator at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center).

Many lawyers have notable backgrounds, serving as senior research fellows, professors, doctoral supervisors, and master's student supervisors. They have also been appointed as arbitrators in various arbitration commissions, including Wuhan Arbitration Commission (Wuhan International Arbitration Center). These individuals have gained recognition for their expertise in areas such as intellectual property, finance, banking, securities and taxation, real estate, corporate law, international trade, and criminal defense. To ensure efficient case handling, a dedicated backbone division has been established as the guiding body.

Throughout its more than 20 years of operation, Huanghe Firm has expanded its scope of services to encompass various legal areas, including government legal counsel, mergers and acquisitions, domain names, trademarks, patents, enterprise name rights, rights of scientific and technological achievements, international trade, maritime transportation, international dispute resolution, and insurance. The firm has adopted a comprehensive development model, integrating new legal services with traditional ones to drive innovation and enhance the quality of its legal offerings.

In November 2021, Huanghe Law Firm embarked on the construction of the Hubei Provincial Trade Remedy and Legal Aid Service Center, entrusted and guided by the  Department of Commerce of Hubei Province. The center aims to provide trade remedy and legal aid services.

Huanghe Firm places significant emphasis on research in law theory and practice. Its lawyers have authored more than 10 academic monographs and nearly 200 professional papers published in law journals.

Furthermore, Huanghe Firm actively engages in public interest endeavors and has gained substantial influence in this area. It has received widespread recognition and praise from various sectors of society. The firm is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the "Mediation Network," an "Internet plus" platform for the public interest project in legal services. It conscientiously manages website maintenance and provides both online and offline legal services.
